  Dopamine is precursor to noradrenaline in noradrenergic nerves

  Dopamine binds to B adrenergic receptors (agonist) -> +ve chronotropic & inotropic effects on myocardium -> increase HR & cardiac contractility & indirectly causes a release of noradrenaline in sympathetic nerve endings
