Rhythmic features

• Irregular time signature -

  • The time signature changes throughout the piece of music
  • E.g. The music starts in 4/4 and then changes to 3/4 for 1 bar, then goes back to 4/4. This then repeats.
• 3 against 2 -

  • Triplets being played against quaver
