• Peripheral nervous system consists of cranial nerve (12 pairs) and spinal nerve (31 pairs)
• Central nervous system consist of brain and spinal cord
• Peripheral nervous cord = cranial and spinal nerves
• functions of the human nervous system = detects stimuli, interprets impulses, coordinates responses
