  • A pre - set list of questions that have asked respondents to supply answers
• How do they supply answers?

  • Give answers to the interviewer either face to face or over the telephone
  • Responding them themselves (Self completion)
• What are 2 main types of questions used in questionnaires?

  • Open and closed questions
• What is a pilot study?

  A small scale study that is used before the main study to check for any possible problems
• Closed Questions

  • Pre-set questions that have multiple choice answers
• Open questions

  Pre-set list of questions, but no pre-set list of answers, respondents can further their explanation/ probe to an interviewer
