• Cluster sampling - when you randomly pick from pre-existing groupings .
• Advantages of Cluster Sampling

  • Quicker than other techniques as they are in groups
• Disadvantage of cluster sampling:

  • not completely random as clusters are selected
• Cluster sampling frame:

  • randomly select a clusters
  • randomly select b elements
  • a x b = sample size
