• Advantages of snowball sampling:

  • quick
  • does NOT require a list
  • good for finding groups with similar qualities
• Disadvantages of snowball sampling:

  • reliant on volunteers
  • causes bias
• Snowball sampling - when members of the sample invite new members into the sample.
