groups).
The goal is to promote peace, economic growth, and cultural preservation for Muslim Filipinos.

Cordillera Administrative Region
)
A region in Northern Luzon that is home to many indigenous groups, like the Igorots.
Unlike BARMM, it does not have self-rule but is managed by the national government.
Created in 1987 to help preserve the unique culture and identity of the Cordilleran people.
Includes 6 provinces known for mountains, rice terraces, and cool weather.
Many people in this region want autonomy (self-rule), but it has not yet been granted.
