• Cell Membrane - semipermeable, controls what enters and leaves the cell
• Cytoplasm - jelly like, site of reactions
• Mitochondrion - energy producer, site of respiration
• Nucleus - controls cell, reproduction site
• Glycogen - storage, found only in animal cell
• Animal Vacuole - excretion site, found only in animal cell
• Cell Wall - support, fully permeable, found only in plant cell
• Plant Vacuole - support, cell sap, found only in plant cell
• Chloroplast - site of photosynthesis, contains chlorophyll [green pigment], found only in plant cell
• Starch Grain - storage, found only in plant cell
• Structures common between both plant and animal cells are: Cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, mitochondria
• Structures found only in animal cells are animal vacuole and glycogen
• Structures found only in plant cells are the starch grain, cell wall, chloroplasts, and vacuoles.
