• Oestrogen is produced by the ovaries and is inbits FSH releasing and stimulates LH release. Also makes the lining of the utres grow again after menstruation
• LH is produced by the pituiarty gland ans stimulates the release of the egg from the ovary
• Progesterone is produced by the empty folicle in the overies and maintains the lining of the uterus during the second half of the cycle. It also inhibits both FSH and LH release
