During puberty, the sex hormones cause secondary sexual characteristics to
develop.
. Oestrogen, from the ovaries, is the main female sex hormone.

FSH is produced by the pitiuary gland can causes eggs to mature in the ovaries in the first part of the cycle. Also stimulates the ovaries to produce Oestrogone
Oestrogen is produced by the ovaries and is inbits FSH releasing and stimulates LH release. Also makes the lining of the utres grow again after menstruation
LH is produced by the pituiarty gland ans stimulates the release of the egg from the ovary
Progesterone is produced by the empty folicle in the overies and maintains the lining of the uterus during the second half of the cycle. It also inhibits both FSH and LH release
