    • Army resistance - conspiracies against Hitler - plans for a coup in 1938 to remove Hitler at time of Sudetenland crisis due to fear of war.
    • Ordinary citizens - some would listen to banned foreign radio broadcasts or tell jokes about Hitler and the Nazi regime.
    • The Mueten - formed 'packs', especially around Leipzig area, and attacked Nazi official.
    • SPD - in exile, went underground and continued to resist the Nazis. Propaganda posters were smuggled across the boarder from Czechoslovakia.
    • Swing Kids - refused to cooperate with Nazi ideals. Listened to illegal US jazz music (seen as degenerate music) and dressed in American fashion.
    • Workers - Absenteeism against long working hours. Some also damaged factory equipment or machinery.
