Sectional Anatomy

• Frontal/Coronal Section: divides the body into anterior and posterior sections
• Sagittal Section: divides the body into left and right halves.
• Midsagittal: even left and right halves
• Parasagittal: uneven left and right halves
• Transverse section: divides body into superior and inferior portions
