    • Collectivist culture traits: Collectivism is the tendency on the individual and societal level to view oneself as interdependent and a member of a group rather than as an independent being.
    • People from collectivist cultures find it difficult to go against the normal.
    • Shift from collective culture to individualistic – like how social times change over time.
    • Objections: Shana Levin got Jewish participants to think about social identity in Israel and most Ashkenazi Jews scored higher SDO scores compared to other types of Jews.
