• progressive tenses doesn't use stative verbs (thoughts/opinions).

  it uses conjugation of (be) verb and main verb with (-ing)

• perfect progressive tenses uses conjugation of have + been + verb with (-ing)

• perfect progressive tenses describes ongoing actions that happen over a period of time
