Method

• 1. one person sits upright on a chair placing their forearm on the table so their hand hangs over the table edge
• 2. other person places rule vertically between the other person’s thumb and first finger
• ruler needs to be pointing down from 0cm
• 3. place the 0cm mark in level with the top of the thumb and drop the ruler without the partner being aware, aim is to catch as quickly as possible
• 4. reading from the top of the thumb record how many cm it took to catch
• 5. repeat 9 more times
