• Strengths

  +used in real time as stress is happening.

  +more objective and scientific.

  +Can be used in experiments, exposing PP to stressors whilst measuring skin conductance.
• Weaknesses

  -Validity issues: may reflect general arousal (general ANS activity) rather than stress.

  -Individual differences: harder to generalise results as can affect data that has been collected like personality types.
