Vagina- Connects the cervix of the uterus to the vulva and exterior of the body. Also, provides the correct environment for the survivial of sperm and allows the passage of sperm from the penis of the male to the cervix during mating.
Cervix- Plays a vital role in the control of movementinto and out of the uterus including the passage of sperm from the vagina into the uterus during mating also it provides protection of the fetus during pregnancy and allows delivery of the fetus during childbirth.
Uterus- It is responsible for the development of the embryo and fetus during pregnancy.
Fallopian Tubes- Transports eggs from the ovary to the uterus and is where fertilisation occurs, following ovulation.
Ovaries- Primary sex organs in females. Produce ova (eggs) and produce hormones.
