To Kings Bench Division (Divisional)

• The Magistrates and Crown Court can appeal to the Kings Bench Division (in the Divisional Court of the High Court)
• When appealed to the Kings Bench Division, the Prosecution or defence can appeal
• When appealed to the Kings Bench Division, it can be appealed on a point of law (error) or against the acquittal / conviction
• When appealed to the Kings Bench Division, the KBD can replace the previous decision or just give their opinion
