    • This decreases oxygen and glucose supplied to the heart muscles.
    • Because of this the heart muscle cells cannot respire enough or release enough energy.

    • Heart attack

    • The valves don't open fully/ the valves leak.
    • This causes less blood to be pumped around the body.
    • Less blood is supplied to cells.
    • Causes less aerobic respiration.
