  • Kpk: Hangu, Orakzai, gullakhel, chitral
• 2. SALT:

  • (Rock salt) Khewra salt mine, Kohistan e namak, warcha, kalabagh, bahadur khel.
  • (sea salt ) Maripur karachi, lasbela, makran
• 3. GYPSUM: used in fertilizer, cement, paint and rubber.

  • Punjab: Mianwali, jhelum, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur.
  • Sindh: Dadu, sanghar
  • Balochistan: Quetta, sibbi
  • Kpk: Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan.
• 4. SULPHUR: used in making fertilizers, explosives, paints, dyes, synthetic rayon, etc

  • Sindh: Karachi, Hyderabad.
  • Balochistan: Chagh, koh e sultan, kalat.
  • Kpk: Chitral, Peshawar
• 4. LIMESTONE: Used in making cement, paper, glass, soap, calcium, etc.

  • Punjab: Salt range, Potwar plateau, margalla hills
  • Sindh: Ganjo takkar, rohri mangu pir
  • Balochistan: Harnai
  • Kpk: Dera Ismail Khan, Mughal Kot, nowshera, kohat
• 5. MARBLE/GEMSTONE:

  • White malagori marble, black, gold, oceanic and onyx marbles are widely available at sites in the Kpk
  • Gemstones ( excluding diamond and opal) are widely found. pakistan is the 5th largest producer of emerald. ruby, topaz and quartz are also found.
• 6. INDUSTRIAL CLAY:

  • Kaolin, Fire clay, fuller clay, bentonite, berite, soap stone, and magnesite
