• Birth of PAMET: 10:00 A.M. on September 15, 1963 at the Manila Public Health Laboratory in Sta. Cruz, Manila
• CRISANTO G. ALMARIO Father of PAMET .Graduated from Manila College of Pharmacy, now called the Manila Central University o Licensed pharmacist who worked as a laboratory technician at the San Lazaro Hospital where he felt the need to uplift the profession to a more dignified level & standardize the laboratory practice.
• First national convention and election of officers were held on September 20, 1964 in Far Eastern University wherein CHARLEMAGNE TAMONDONG became the first president
• October 14, 1969 - Presidency of Nardito Moraleta that PAMET was incorporated and registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission with Registration No. 395270
• The only accredited professional organization of Registered Medical Technologists in the Philippines when presidential decree no. 223 was approved on June 22, 1973 creating PRC.
• National Body with 46 provincial chapters nationwide and four international chapters - Singapore, Eastern Region Middle East, Western Region Middle East and USA.
• 20 representatives attended: o 11 from allied medical professions o 9 from five schools offering medical technology
• The circle represents to the continuous involvement where practice and education must always be integrated.
• The triangle refers to the trilogy of love, respect, and integrity. The trilogy should always be manifested byFilipino medical technologists in the performance of their work.
