  cell membrane

  cytoplasm

  nucleus

  ribosome
• cell membrane - controls movement in and out of the cell. selectively-permeable.
• cytoplasm - where most of the cell's chemical reactions take place.
• nucleus - controls the cell and contains the cell's genetic information (DNA)
• ribosome - where protein synthesis occurs
