Types of Conformity

• Compliance- Go along with majority group, may not share the belief want to see normal. Changes public but not private views. This is shown in Asch's research.
• Identification is when a person is interested in the views of the majority and follows the majority. This is shown in Zimbardo's research.
• Internalisation believe in the views of the majority sharing there views. This is shown in Jeness research.
