• Gland- Organs in the humans which secretes particular chemical substances.
• Hormone- Regulatory substance produced in a organism and transport tissue into action
• Endocrine system communicates with the nervous system through the hypothalamus. This controls basic drive, hunger and thirst
• Endocrine glands release hormones into the bloodstream.
• The endocrine glands that make the hormones into the bloodstream.
• Glands produce and release different hormones that target specific things in the body
• Example of glands:

  Help control mood, growth and development
• Hormones are chemical messengers that are secretly directly to the blood
