  • If one of the parties is dissatisfied wit the decision of the trial judge about the liability or the compensation, they can appeal.
  • An appeal hearing ususally consists fo elgal arguments as to what the original decision should be altered
  • An appeal is usually made to the next highest court in the hierarchy and a panel of three judges.
