• There are three major parts of a microscope, these include; the magnifying parts, the illuminating parts and the mechanical parts
• Illuminating parts - parts that allow us to see what we're looking at
• Mechanical parts - parts that hold everything together
• Specimen- the part of an object/organism we study or examine under the microscope
