• animal and plant cells are eukaryotic cells
• bacteria cells are prokaryotic cells.
• cells are the smallest unit that create all living things
• animal and plant cells are multicelluar

• animal cells have : a cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus , mitochondria and ribosomes
• plant cells also have : chloroplats, a cell wall and a permanent vacuole
• cell membrane: controls what substances in and out of the cell
• nucleus: contains all the genetic information / DNA . "brain of the cell"
• cytoplasm: where chemical reactions take place
• mitochondria: site of areobic respiration and release energy to the cell when needed
• ribosomes: site of protein snythesis
• cell wall : rigid made out of cellulose and provide the cell with more support and structure
• permenant vacuole: contains sap ( mixture of water,sugar and salts)
• chloroplasts: site of photosnythesis in plants
• chlorophyll: makes leaves green
• bacteria cells contain: cytoplasm, cell membrane , cell wall , ribosomes, single strand of DNA, plasmids , flagella.
• single strand of DNA : contain the genes bacteria cells need to survive and reproduce also labelled as a nuleoid or circular chromosone
• plasmids: contain extra genes making bacteria antibiotic resistant
• flagella: propel bacteria, allows bacteria to move
