  -duke is revealed - lucio dies (gets sentenced to death and to marry a prostitute)- Angelo is sent to marry Mariana - Isabella is to marry the duke

  - friar positions Isabella and Mariana to get ready for the duke's arrival

  - the duke gets ready ready to re-enter Vienna
• Act 4, scene 4


  - Angelo & escalus questions the dukes actions- angelo has a monologue and admits that claudio should've lived

  -Barnadine gets swapped with ragozine for the beheading - the next plot revealed is the duke will arrive and pardon the friar - the duke tells Isabella that claudio is dead
