Harmonics

• Fundamental frequency is the minimum frequency needed to form a stationary wave
• There is always a node on each end of a wire as the ends are fixed
• If ends are fixed, no particle oscillations can occur
• A closed tube always has an open end with an antinode as no particle oscillations can occur on the surface
