Austria - many supported Anschluss, and believed Austria could be great again through Hitler. Jews however knew what Anschluss meant for them and tried to flee
Germany - delighted at the result of Anschluss, and was made stronger as a result of it
Britain - Most people viewed Germany and Austria as one country so there was little opposition, and those who opposed it said there should have been negotiation instead of it just not happening
France - more preoccupied with its own political issues than Anschluss
Czechoslovakia - Worried about how they were next on the Lebensraum scheme and looked to Britain and France for help
The League of Nations - Failed to prevent Anschluss, and failed at its original aim
Italy - After initial opposition in 1934, Italy was in favour of Anschluss due to the Anti-Comintern Pact in 1938
