• Trichomes is for heat regulation and water balance in plants.
• Root Hairs increase the uptake and absorption of nutrients.
• Cilia are hair-like structures used for movement and keep passage ways free of mucus.
• Flagellum are whip-like structures (like a sperm cell) used for movement.
• Villi are finger-like projections and Microvilli are smaller projections that increases the surface area to allow efficient absorption.
• Pseudopods are temporary projections of the cell and used for locomotion and for phagocytosis aka "false feet".
