Keyboarding is the process of entering data through the use of a keyboard.
The most common arrangement of a keyboard is called a QWERTY keyboard.
Tab - used to indent paragraphs or move from one text field to another
ESC Key - exit or cancel operations
Caps lock - make letters capital
The Shift allow to capitalize and access secondary fucntion
Ctrl (control) - modifier key that performs special operation
Windows key - open/close windows start menu
Alt (Alternate) - same as ctrl
Space Bar - adds one blank space between objects
Right Click Key - allow to access contextual menu
Enter - starts a new line or begins a process
Backspace - erase the object to the left of the cursor
Insert - allows you to replace a word with another by writing over it
Home - move cursor to front of your line of text
Page Up/Page Down - scrolls the page up or down
Delete - erase at right of the cursor
End - move to end of your line of text
Numeric Keypad - a number pad typically found on far right
Numlock - enables and disable numeric keypad
Print Screen - copies current screen to clipboard
Scroll Lock - temporarily stops the scrolling of text
Pause/Break - allow a user to pause and unpause an action
F keys - known as function keys and may have a variety of different use depending on the OS
F1 - always open a help screen program
F2 - rename or edit selected item
F3 - open search features
F4 - open address bar
F5 - refresh website webpage
F6 - moves the cursor to address bar
F7 - opens up spell check in MS office
F8 - enter windows startup menu when booting up
F9 - refresh document in word and send email in outlook
F10 - activates menu bar and operates as right click with shift key
F11 - activate full screes
F12 - Open the Save as
