  • Underhand service
    -The act of serving the ball by hitting it below the waist level.it is done by tossing the ball before hitting it w/an arm low with an upward swing and a follow-through
  • Overhead service
    -The act of serving the ball by tossing it overhead and striking it above the head level.
  • Service
    -it is the act of putting the ball in play by hitting the ball toward the opponent's courtside.
  • PASS
    • it is also called reception.
  • PASS
    • can be underhand or overhand, with dig as the underhand pass and the toss or set as the overhead pass
  • DIG PASS
    -The process of hindering the ball from landing on the court's ground when the opponent performs a strike or an attack.
  • BLOCK
    -The act of preventing the opponent's attempt to strike or attack.

    performed by jumping in front of the attacker by extending the arm and preventing the ball from crossing over the net

    -The act of putting the ball into a position where the attacker can strike the ball hard toward the opponent's court.
