    Individuals in the US have the right to protest. This means that they
    can join together to voice their support or opposition to government
    measures by taking to the streets in protest or holding demonstrations
    against laws they disagree with. However, Americans must protest
    peacefully and legally. For example, in 2020 tens of thousands of US
    Citizens came to the streets in protest of the killing of George Floyd.

    Individuals can express their opinion and vote for people to represent
    them at Federal, State and County/Local level. Individuals have the
    responsibility to use their vote and do so in a considered way. For
    example, individuals can vote in Presidential elections at Federal level
    government, such as Joe Biden. For example, individuals can vote in Presidential elections at Federal level government, such as Joe
    Biden.
  • political rights that the citizens have in the USA - to join an interest group
    This means that they can join with people who share the same views as they do on important issues and together they will campaign on behalf of their interests. However, members of interest groups must respect the views of others who do not share their own views and tell the truth when campaigning. For example, the USA is a nation of gun lovers and many suspect that the government intends to further
    extend gun control. The NRA will campaign on behalf of gun lovers to try to prevent further gun controls.
