• Matter-Made out of particles, has volume and mass
• Phase change-A change in the appearance but not the component
• Liquid-Particles are closer than solids but still have some space between them
• Solid-Particles are close together with strong forces between them
• Exothermic- Energy is released
• Endothermic- Absorbs energy from it's surrounding
• Condensation- A process wherein gas turns to liquid
• Sublimation- Solid turns to gas
• Evaporation- Liquid turns into gas
• Deposition- Gas into solid
• Freezing- Liquid to solid
• Melting- A process wherein solid turns to liquid
