• Sperm cells have a long tail to help them swim to the egg.
• sperm cells are packed with mitocondria to provide energy needed to swim to the egg
• Nerve cells -covered in myelin speeds up transition of nerve impulses
• Muscle cells - packed with mitochondria to provide energy for contraction
• Root hair - root hair increases the surface area of the cell
