Elements compounds and mixtures

• Compounds contain two or more different elements that are chemically combined in fixed proportions.
• Compounds usually have totally different properties than elements that they are made from
• A mixture is 2 or more substances that are not chemically combined together.
• A group of two or more than two atoms of the same or different elements that are chemically bonded together
• An element is a substance that cannot be broken down into any other substance. Every element is made up of its own type of atom.
