set crocodile clips to 20cm of wire and measure with ruler
turn circuit on and measure current using ammeter
measure potential different using voltmeter
turn circuit off
use crocodile clips to adjust length of wire to 40cm
repeat measurements of current and potential difference at different lengths of wire
calculate resistance of each length using R=V/I
