  • Crimes exist because there are people who perform acts that are in violation of the law.
  • Accidental criminal- who "accidentally" violated the law due to come circumstances beyond his control.
  • The most basic definition of the term Criminal is a person who committed a crime.
  • In Legal perspective, criminal defined as a person found guilty by the court or of the standard judicial process.
  • In Criminological perspective, a person is considered criminal the moment he committed a crime.
  • According to etiology classification of criminals, there's Acute and Chronic criminal.
  • Acute criminal- a person who violated the law as a result of reacting to a situation during a moment of burst feeling.
  • Chronic criminal- is afflicted with a mental disorder and that causes him to commit crime.
  • Normal criminal- a person who committed because he admires, or idolizes, people whose criminal.
  • Habitual criminals repeatedly commit crimes for different reasons.
  • According to criminal activities, there are Professional criminals, Habitual criminals, Situational criminals, and Accidental criminals.
  • Professional criminals are highly skilled and methodical in their operations and are engaged in large-scale criminal activities.
  • Situational criminals are people who got involved in a criminal act because of the situation presented itself.
  • Ordinary criminals engage in crimes that do not require specialized or technical skill.
  • According to the type of offender, there are Ordinary criminals, Organized criminals, and Professional criminals.
  • Professional criminals earn their living through criminal activities.
  • Organized criminals possess skills and know-how to commit crimes and evade detection.
