  .When insects respire aerobically , O2 is take in, Co2 absorbed by soda lime

  When they take in O2

  . Decreases vol & pressure in experimental tube ( p is lower than in control tube)

  . So, Liquid moves towards respiring organism, because it is pushed
• What's the purpose of the filter paper?

  Increase SA for CO2 absorption
