Carbon Storages (Reservoirs)

• Organisms store most of the carbon.
• Sedimentary rocks such as limestone store carbon. They re-enter the cycle when dissolved by acid rain.
• Oceans store carbon. They are dissolved into the ocean.
• Carbon is removed from the ocean by marine algae in photosynthesis.
