Malaria

• caused by a prototist with genus plasmodium -> transferred by female mosquitoes of genus Anopheles
• symptoms of malaria:

  • discharge
  • burns when you pee
• untreated female could become infertile
• malaria causes fever as plasmodium destroys the red blood cells
• to prevent: mosquito nets, pesticides, repellent and vaccines
• to treat: antimalarial drugs
