• During ovulation, an egg is released from one of the ovaries into the fallopian tube.
• If fertilization occurs, the embryo implants itself into the wall of the uterus and develops into a fetus.
• bleeding starts at the lining of the uterus breaks down and passes out of the vagina.
• egg cells start to mature at the lining of the uterus starts to build up again.
• day 15-28 , the uterus walls stay thick waiting for a fertilised egg. If this does not happen, the cycle starts all over again.
