• Biomolecules= the chemicals found in living things
• Anabolic reaction= reactions in which smaller molecules are combined to form larger molecules e.g. photosynthesis
• catabolic reaction= reaction in which larger molecules are broken down into smaller molecules e.g. respiration/ digestion
