  Animal, plant, bacteria + virus
• Cell membrane - controls what enters/leaves the cell.
• Cytoplasm - contains organelles (e.g. mitochondria) which carry out specific functions.
• Nucleus - stores genetic material (DNA).
• Cytoplasm - contains organelles (e.g. mitochondria) which carry out functions within the cell.
• Ribosomes - site of protein synthesis.
• Mitochondrion - site of aerobic respiration.
• Chloroplast - site of photosynthesis.
• Vacuole - storage area for water, waste products or pigments.
