What does amplitude mean?
Maximum displacement of a point on a wave from its undisturbed position.
What is a wavelength?
Distance between the same point on 2 adjacent waves.
What is frequency?
Number of complete waves passing a certain point per second.
What is a transverse wave?
The oscillations are perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer.
What is a longitudinal wave?
Oscillations are parallel to the direction of energy transfer.
What is a period?
The amount of time it takes for a full cycle of the waves to pass a point.
What is the equation for Period?
Period = 1/f
What is the equation for Wave speed?
Wave speed = wavelength x frequency

Angle of Incidence = Angle of reflection

The angle between the incoming wave and the normal.
What is the angle of reflection?

An imaginary line that's perpendicular to the surface at the point of incidence.
What is specular reflection?
When a wave is reflected in a single direction by a smooth surface and you get a clear reflection.
