• Puberty- when secondary sexual characteristics are developed

  • facial hair/breasts/pubic hair
  • men - triggered by hormone TESTOSTERONE produced in testes (also stimulates sperm production)
  • women - triggered by hormone OESTROGEN ( produced by ovaries)
