  • Penis - For sexual intercourse where semen contains sperm is expelled or ejaculated.
  • Scrotum - the loose pouch like sac of skin that hangs behind the penis which contains the testicles. It acts as a climate control system for the testes.
  • Testicles - Oval organs about the size of a very large olives that's responsible for making testosterone (the primary sex hormone and for producing sperm). Inside the testes are masses of tubes called seminiferous tubules that are responsible for producing the sperm cells through a process called spermatogenesis.
  • Epididymis - a long, coiled tube tat rests on the backside of each testicle. It carries, store, ad bring the sperm too maturity.
  • vas deferens - a long muscular tube that travels from the epididymis into the pelvic cavity behind the bladder. It transports mature sperm to the urethra in preparation for ejaculation.
  • Ejaculatory Ducts - formed by the fusion of the vas deferens and the seminal vesicles.
  • Urethra - tube that carries urine from the bladder to outside of the body, and expelling semen when the man reaches orgasm.
  • seminal vesicles - a sac-like pouches that attach to the vas deferens near the base of the bladder, it produces a sugar-rich liquid (fructose) that provides sperms with a source of energy and helps with the sperms' motility.
  • Prostate gland - a walnut-sized structure that is located below the urinary bladder in front of the rectum. It contributes additional fluid to the ejaculate and help to nourish the sperm.
  • Bulbourethral Glands - a pea-sized structures located in the sides of the urethra below the prostate gland. These glands produce a clear, slippery fluid that empties directly into the urethra.
  • Labia Majora - The "large lips" the enclose and protect the other external reproductive organs of female. It contains sweat and oil-secreting glands.
  • Labia Minora - the "small lips" that lies inside the labia majora, it surrounds the openings to the vagina and urethra.
  • Bartholin's Glands - located besides the vaginal opening and produce a fluid (mucus) secretion.
  • clitoris - small, sensitive protrusion where two labia minora meet. It is covered by a fold of skin called "prepuce"
