• Person stands erect, facing forward, and arms at the the sides of the body, palms of hands turned forward, feel parallel to each other


  Anatomical Position
• Midsagittal (median) plane


  Runs through center of the body, dividing the body into RIGHT & LEFT halves

  
• Cornal (frontal) plane


  Divides the body into anterior (FRONT) and posterior (BACK)sections

  
• Transverse (horizontal) Plane


  Divides body into TOP & BOTTOM sections
