    German labour front:
the german labour front was set up to protect the rights of workers & deal with issues. since they banned trade unions, the nazis had to find a way to appease the workers. there were multiple divisions set up within it: strength through joy - encouraged workers that they were benefiting the entire nation, provided enjoyable activities (eg, sports events), & tried to improve access to consumer goods, like the volkswagen which was made affordable. a strand of the strength through joy was the beauty of labour, which aimed to help employees with the cost of improving facilities. however, employees would usually go without pay.
