Eric Birling

• Eric is quite quiet and down spoken at the beginning of the play, he leaves the house for a bit but returns before he is questioned by the inspector. He admits to getting Eva pregnant and then stealing money from Arthur’s business to help her with financial support, but she stopped taking it once she knew it was stolen. At the end of the play, Eric is annoyed at his parents for not caring about Eva’s death and stands up for himself against them.
